The Kawartha Highlands Signature Site is our newest Provincial Park and will be the largest protected area in Ontario, KHSS, located south of Algonquin Provincial Park, within the north eastern quadrant of Peterborough County, situated along the southern edge of the Canadian shield and encompassing 37, 587 hectares with few interior roads, comprised mainly of forest, lakes, creeks and rivers which provide an abundance of wildlife, scenic views and recreational activities for all age groups.
